The rapid decline of the UK's moths is having a knock-on effect on the birds and mammals which rely on them for food

Moths Count

Elephant HawkmothConserving the UK's moths is a huge challenge.

To succeed, we need up-to-date information about where species are, and how they are faring.

Moths Count provides this information, meaning we can focus conservation, education and research where it will make a difference.

Your donation will help to increase our understanding of the state of moths in Britain today and to create programmes for their conservation.

Here are some other examples of how your gift will help conserve Britain's moths.

  • £30 will pay for essential field equipment needed for volunteer training
  • £150 will pay for a one-day site visit to give landowners specific advice on habitat management
  • £300 will pay for a training workshop to help farmers improved habitat for moths and other wildlife
