Help us unlock funds to save threatened butterflies and moths

Landfill tax was introduced in 1996 to encourage waste reduction and recycling.

Money raised from this tax goes towards environmental improvement projects in the UK.

Landfill Community Funders have offered to donate £10 to Butterfly Conservation for every £1 we can raise.

We have recently launched an appeal in Devon to match a grant awarded by SITA Trust, so work to protect Pearl-Bordered Fritillaries can begin in Haldon Forest near Exeter.

The Match Pot appeal will be used to leverage further funding from the Landfill Communities Fund and other funders and may be used towards the broad range of Butterfly Conservation's charitable activities.
