- David Brown is well known for his top quality moth events run at many different locations over the UK
- The course will be £180 basic (en suite rooms extra)
- This includes full board in very comfortable rooms, ample afternoon teas (including cakes), excellent lunches, delicious evening meals and full cooked English breakfasts, mid-morning tea/coffee and biscuits, travel during course and tutoring

- This fascinating course on Lepidoptera will be introduced with colour slides to illustrate the diversity of species to be found both at Alston Hall and at a special mossland habitat in South Cumbria
- Meathop Moss has a galaxy of interesting species such as Large Heath butterfly, Wood Tiger and Purple-bordered Gold moths
- Moth traps will be operated in the grounds of Alston Hall to attract a diverse range of species
- There will be help with identification and classification
- The course is suitable for all levels of experience
