• This lovely grassland slope supports many butterflies and wild flowers and our task is to control the scrub that is always threatening to take over
• Meet at 9.45am at the entrance: gateway grid ref: ST 188180, along Dolling’s Road (leads to Chelmsine off lane from Forches Corner to Lowton)
• Hand tools and instruction provided as required
• Work at your own pace to keep fit or just warm-up!
• The tasks usually finish between 3.30 and 4pm - even if you can only manage a few hours do still come along
• We can provide tools and gloves, but bring your own packed lunch and be sure to wear wellingtons or work boots
• Light rain is no deterrent – just come equipped for the conditions!
• Children under 16 should be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult
