• We hope to run monthly moth traps until September.
• If you are interested in seeing moth trapping in action, or would like to run your own trap, please email or phone Michael and he will put you on the mailing list and keep you updated of events throughout the year.
• Children welcome.
• Sorry, no dogs.
• The 4-hectares (10 acres) reserve is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and has been one of the few remnants of Vert Wood's previously more extensive heathland.
• Notable moths on this site are Broad-bordered Bee Hawk-moth, Eyed Hawk-moth, Elephant Hawk-moth, Pine Hawk-moth and Cream-spot Tiger.
• The reserve lies about 2km south of East Hoathly.
• Turn off the A22 at Park Corner and park in the lay-by on the right. Just beyond this on the right is a private road from which a track leads to the reserve.
