An Upper Thames Branch Guided Walk at Warburg, led by Hilary Glew

Join us for a trip to the BBOWT Warburg Nature Reserve: a remote and magnificent wildlife gem, nestling in a quiet valley in the Chiltern Hills. It supports extensive broadleaved woodland with open rides and glades, rich in exciting animals and plants, including a particularly fine range of orchids.

We will look out for a variety of woodland and grassland butterfly species, and should see a wide variety of other wildlife. Target speciesinclude Purple Hairstreak.

Accessibility & risks: mostly wide grassy paths but fairly steep in places; can be muddy; benches. Toilets on site.
