Saturday 11th May: Guided walk at Braunton Burrows Near Barnstaple @ 13.00

A meeting in the heart of North Devon an Area of outstanding natural beauty. Braunton Burrows is a vast and complex dune system. The whole area is protected by a UNESCO designated Biosphere Reserve due to the plant and insect life that inhabits it.

Meet at Sandy Lane carpark Grid ref:SS 463 349 post code EX33 2NX. Parking fees will apply. There are light refreshments and toilet facilities within the carpark. Approximately a 3-4 hour walk on mainly level ground. Good walking footwear and long trousers recommended as there will be some brambles, along with appropriate protection for our changeable weather conditions.

Target species: Grizzled Skipper and Dingy Skipper.
