We will be cutting and burning encroaching gorse and silver birch to ensure this species rich wet meadow remains suitable for Marsh Fritillary and Narrow-bordered Bee Hawk-moth, as well as many other animal and plant species.

We will be meeting at Lower Hurston farm, nr Chagford. There is some parking here, but car sharing is encouraged. Please contact Simon on the details provided if you are interested in attending. Wellies and clothes you don't mind getting dirty are highly recommended as this site can be quite wet under foot and we are planning on having a bonfire. Please bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink.

This is a joint event between Sticklepath and Okehampton Conservation volunteers and the Heritage Funded All the Moor Butterflies project.
