A guided walk to search for some of the special butterflies and moths of the Cairngorms and Deeside, a stronghold area for a number of nationally rare species.

Depending on weather and seasonal variation, these could include Pearl-bordered Fritillary, Kentish Glory, Large Red-belted Clearwing, Narrow-bordered Bee Hawk-moth and Netted Mountain Moth, which all have particular habitat requirements. Learn how to identify them and find out about surveys you can get involved with to contribute to their conservation.
