Join us for a workshop in butterfly identification and monitoring at St Andrews Botanic Garden on Thursday 4th April 2024.

This workshop will cover the identification of the common and widespread species found in Scotland, and a description of the methods used to record butterflies using free apps and websites.

We will spend the morning indoors learning about butterflies, before going outside for the afternoon to look for butterflies in the gardens.

Booking: booking is essential. Click here to fill in the booking form. Free entry to the gardens will be given to anyone who books onto the course.

The workshop will run between 10am and 3pm.

This workshop is being delivered as part of the Restoring St Andrews Coastal Habitat Networks project, which is supported by the University of St Andrews and funded by the Scottish Government's Nature Restoration Fund.
