Have you seen a Small Tortoiseshell?

The 2008 Butterfly Conservation Grand Christmas Raffle is highlighting the Society’s work conserving the UK’s wider countryside butterflies and moths. 

With 7 out of 10 species of butterfly in decline, the dramatic disappearance of the lovely Small Tortoiseshell from many areas within the space of just a few years is especially worrying.

Every £1 ticket you purchase will contribute to Butterfly Conservation’s work saving Britain’s butterflies and moths and increase your chances of winning the fabulous first prize, a Naturetrek European Butterfly Holiday (worth over £1,000) plus £250 cash spending money.

There are also 30 other prizes to be won (five Naturetrek vouchers valued at £50 plus £50 cash, and 25 prizes of £25 cash).

The 2008 Butterfly Conservation Grand Christmas Raffle Draw will take place at Head Office, Lulworth on 11^th December 2008.
