The 2010 target and beyond for Lepidoptera

We are delighted to announce that our President, Sir David Attenborough, will open our Sixth International Symposium to be held at Reading University, 26th-28th March 2010 on the theme: The 2010 target and beyond for Lepidoptera.

The Symposium will include reviews of progress towards the 2010 target from the UK, Europe and countries throughout the world, as well as IYB 2010 and Butterfly Conservation Europe logothe latest science on how to reverse the decline of butterflies and moths, and conserve habitats. The Symposium will end with a forward look at future challenges, including the impact of climate change.

The symposium will be run in association with Butterfly Conservation Europe.
