Delivery

The following delivery charges apply unless otherwise stated in any special offer.

• We use Royal Mail 2nd class delivery or Parcel Force. Orders are processed within 3 working days
• There is no extra delivery charge for membership
• Delivery for "Better Butterflies" (DVD or Video) - Orders will be processed within 10 working days. (Free postage and packing)

For deliveries within the UK

• We charge 50p for postage of items on £5 or under
• We charge £2 for items over £5

For deliveries abroad

• Please contact us to ask for a quotation. Postage will be charged at cost

Guarantees/Returns

If you are not happy with a product you may have a refund. To claim a refund please return an undamaged item within 7 days of delivery and notify us by e-mail that you are returning it. Your card will be reimbursed less a £5 handling fee.

If an item is damaged please return it within 7 days of delivery and notify us by e-mail that you are returning it. You will be offered a full refund on your card of the item and your postage costs to return it.

The chances of something getting lost in the post are very small but you return your item at your own risk. We recommend you use recorded delivery as no refund will be given if an item has not been received.

Your membership application is activated as soon as we receive your form on the website and normally there will be no refunds. However, if you have opted to take out the Life Benefactor category we will allow you to change your mind within three weeks of your application. Please notify us in writing that you wish to change your category of membership. You will then be refunded the difference between that and the ordinary membership fee plus a £10 administrative charge.

Butterfly Conservation is always aware of privacy issues and will strive to ensure that the site is monitored effectively to prevent possible breaches of any individual privacy.

Security

Butterfly Conservation uses industry leaders Worldpay to handle financial transactions. Using industry standard SSL, Thawte and WorldPay unique encrytion systems all your details are protected from your computer to the payment server. When you fill in the forms and click the submit button a secure link is set up between your browser and WorldPay. An encryption code is requested and received which then wraps the order and transaction details before leaving your browser.

Butterfly Conservation does not retain your unencrypted credit or debit card details. Your personal details are retained for our accounting and membership records but will NOT be passed on to third parties.
