Go on a photowalk and explore nature through the lens!

What is photowalking?

Photowalking is simply the act of following a route and taking pictures as you go. It's a great way to switch off from the everyday and connect more closely with nature and your surroundings.


You will need:

A camera - a smartphone or tablet will do!

Step 1

Read our guide for inspiration - you could choose to take one of our challenges or make up your own!

Step 2

Choose a location for your photowalk. This could be your local park, garden, school grounds or even somewhere further afield that you'd like to explore such as a nature reserve.

Step 3

Get out and enjoy! Take your time to really notice nature and your surroundings and you will be sure to find something interesting to photograph.
