Make a butterfly mask
Make and decorate your own beautiful butterfly mask.
You will need:
- Our downloadable template
- Scissors
- Cardboard
- Glue
- Sticky tape
- Lollipop stick or paper straw
- Pens, pencils or any other items to decorate your mask
Step 1
Download and print our butterfly mask template, then carefully cut it out.
Step 2
Stick the mask on to some cardboard (an old cereal box is perfect).
Step 3
Cut around the mask again, and then carefully cut the eye holes out. Ask an adult to help you with this bit as it can be tricky.
Step 4
Now it's the fun bit. Decorate your mask however you like. You could use felt tips, scraps of paper, ribbon - anything you like!
Step 5
Tape a lollipop stick or drinking straw to your mask to make a handle so you can hold your mask in front of your face. Or you could punch two holes at either side of your mask and attach some string or elastic.
