Following the online presentation (on the same topic) on Thurs 21st, we head out to practise our technique across land at Pangbourne, Berks. RG8 8EG We will fill out survey sheets and discuss the queries that arise when doing the survey for real, ahead of the start of the butterfly survey season. Butterflies are unlikely at this time of year so we will survey coloured pegs placed to re-create the situations encountered on the survey.
