Join us for a trip to BBOWT’s Foxholes Nature Reserve: a beautiful ancient woodland with abundant wildlife; and a variety of woodland butterflies.
We will walk around the open rides and glades, looking for the best places to see some of our woodland species. Target species: White Admiral and Purple Hairstreak,
Accessibility & risks: gently sloping; mainly grassy, soft after rain, some trip hazards. Kissing Gate. Please check for ticks after the walk and let the leader know if you have picked up any ticks. (Tick advice)
Booking Required: Parking for the reserve is very limited. If required we will arrange to meet elsewhere, locally, and share lifts to the reserve.
Please check here the evening before the walk to make sure it is going ahead as planned. This page will be updated regularly.
Parking will be arranged, depending on the numbers booked.
