New Members are particularly welcomed to join this walk, where they leader will introduce you gently to the wonders of looking at our beautiful butterflies and day-flying moths.

Join us on a trip to BBOWT Seven Barrows Nature Reserve: nationally important for its archaeology as well as its wildlife, this ancient and atmospheric site has a wonderful variety of chalk grassland flowers and butterflies.

We will explore areas of grassland, on the reserve, to see some of our spring butterflies and other wildlife. We will also stroll along the road and up the track towards Crog Hill to see what we can find there. Target species: Dingy Skipper, Small Blue and day-flying moths.

Accessibility - mainly flat, steep up to Crop Hill, Firm but uneven in places.

Whilst Booking is Not required, it would help us to manage numbers and ensure the Leader does not get to the site to find no-one has turned up.
Please check here the evening before the walk to make sure it is going ahead as planned. This page will be updated regularly.
