Join us for a trip to Lardon Chase: a National Trust grassland site, part of one of the largest areas of chalk downland in the country. It has a rich chalk grassland flora and a good suite of grassland and scrub butterflies. It offers spectacular views of the woodlands and steep valley over the village of Streatley.

We will explore this fabulous site’s steep grassland slopes and areas of scrub for its spring butterflies as well as other wildlife. Target species: Adonis Blue and other chalk grassland butterflies.

Accessibility & risks: steep and strenuous slopes; rabbit holes and other trip hazards. Please check for ticks after the walk and let the leader know if you have picked up any ticks. (Tick advice)
