Wild Spaces are places where butterflies and moths can feed, breed and find shelter. To do this they need certain plants for their caterpillars to eat, nectar-rich plants, and quiet spaces to transform into adults. Join us for this free workshop to find out more about what they need, and how you can create your own Wild Space at home or in community greenspaces. This workshop will have a particular focus on creating Wild Spaces in shared greenspace such as allotments, community gardens, parks and amenity areas.
We will spend the morning indoors with presentations, then go outside for the afternoon to look at habitats nearby.
