This, joint with Devon branch, is our first visit to this beautifully situated Iron Age hillfort with impressive views.  The morning walk will be on the earthworks of the hillfort where downland species are to be found.  Chalkhill Blue has not been recorded in recent years so will be a target to find.  After lunch, there is an optional walk to look at another area of nearby downland.
Meet 11.00 am.  Park on the roadside at the crossroads south-east of the hillfort, map reference SY 547 945.
Contact is Paul Butter on 07807 680455 or email [email protected]

It would help us if you could book with the walk/talk/work party leader in advance. This does not commit you to turning up, but it means that if we have to cancel the event, we can contact you to tell you this. We may use your email address to contact you immediately after the event, but it will not be held for any future purpose
