Join volunteers from our East Scotland branch on a guided walk to look for butterflies at Duddingston and Holyrood Park!

Holyrood Park is one of the best places in central Scotland to see butterflies, and is home to over 20 different species including the rare Grayling. Two volunteers from the East Scotland branch are leading a guided walk on Saturday 19th August between 11am and 1pm to show people the butterflies here. While Grayling will no longer by flying by this time, we expect to see a variety of butterflies including Small Heath, Small Copper and Wall.

This event is suitable for people who want to learn more about butterflies, or people with a bit more experience. The walk will include some uneven terrain as it will include the rocky paths of Holyrood Park.
