The Black Hairstreak is one of the UK's rarest and most elusive species. Fortunately our branch area includes one of the most reliable sites for viewing this fascinating butterfly. Please join us to see this and other early summer woodland species – possibly including White Admiral and Silver-washed Fritillary.
Please meet in the BCN Wildlife Trust car park, located 1.5 miles west of Brampton, on the minor road to Grafham.
