BARDNEY LIMEWOODS – GREAT WEST WOOD AND HARDY GANG WOOD
Time: 10:00 am
Meeting Place: Park at the main entrance to Great West Wood. Lunch back at the cars before the short drive to nearby Hardy Gang Wood near Langworth.

Target Species: White Admiral, Purple Hairstreak and possibly Purple Emperor, which has been seen in both these woods in recent years.
Information: A chance to explore two of the outlying Limewoods away from the more usually visited Chambers Farm Wood. We will be walking along woodland paths, which are usually dry in summer, but could be muddy following a rainy spell. Please bring stout footwear, suitable clothing for all conditions and a packed lunch.
