CROWLE MOOR

Time: 10:00 am

Meeting Place: Parking is available at the Council car park at T-junction of Moor Road and Dole Road

Grid Reference: SE758140

Map Details: Ordnance Survey – Landranger Map 112 (SCUNTHORPE & GAINSBOROUGH)

Target Species: Large Heath.
Crowle Moor is also an excellent area for dragonflies, some unusual plants and, of course, watch out for Adders that like to bask on the paths!

Information: We will be concentrating on the northern section of the reserve, and if time permits, will visit the area to the south of the car park.
We will be using the waymarked footpath routes around each reserve, as to wander off can be potentially dangerous. These paths are usually dry in summer, but can be wet and muddy following a period of rain.
Please bring stout footwear (wellington boots are recommended), suitable clothing for all conditions and a packed lunch.
