Join staff from Butterfly Conservation for a guided walk to look for the rare Slender Scotch Burnet on Monday 19th June.
Slender Scotch Burnet are only found in 6 sites across Mull, Ulva and Gometra. Their caterpillars feed on Common Bird's-foot-trefoil, and they need sheltered sunny spots along south facing basalt rock slopes. Come along for this walk to visit known sites where Slender Scotch Burnets are found, and learn how you can take part in our surveys of this and other Burnet species.
Location: we will meet at the Glengorm Cafe Carpark Car Park at 12.45 pm for a 1pm start, and will make our way toward Dun Ara.

Booking: email Liz Peel on [email protected] to book your place.
Booking is advised in case we need to postpone or cancel the event due to weather.
