Crook Peak, Mendip Hills.

A steep climb up to the the bit of the Mendips that you see as you drive up and down the M5.  Great views from over Brean Down to Wales, east towards Cheddar and across to the north Devon coast.   Weather permitting, we will stop for lunch at the top of the peak (please bring lunch with you) and therefore this walk will be around 3 hrs long.

Grayling - Bob Eade

Target species: Grayling and limestone grassland species e.g Brown Argus, Marbled White.

Information that applies to all our guided walks

There is no charge for the walks. Children and beginners are especially welcome. No dogs please as some of the sites have livestock on them.

Except where indicated, all walks start promptly at 11.00 am; please take care to arrive in good time.  They are taken at an easy pace and this walk will be around 3 hrs.

Many sites include steep, rough or wet ground so stout shoes, boots or wellies are recommended. Please inform the walk leader if you have health problems that might affect you on the walk.
