Wiltshire: Field trip to Beacon Hill (Bulford)

We will explore this area of chalk grassland and mixed scrub, looking especially for Dark Green Fritillaries, plus various other species. Bring a packed lunch if you wish.

Location: Meet at the foot of the hill at SU 2036 4436 (Map 184). what3words: ///retain.elsewhere.shippers.

Directions: The meeting point is off Tidworth Road, between Bulford Camp and Tidworth, opposite the firing ranges. If coming from Bulford Camp it is on the right by a left hand bend shortly past Alpha Range. If coming from Tidworth it is shortly after Bravo/Golf/Zulu Ranges.
