A joint trip with the Somerset & Bristol Branch, the target species being Small Pearl-bordered Fritillaries and Chimney Sweeper moths. Other species on the wing are likely to include Large Skipper, Small Copper, Common Blue and Small Heath. Several species of dragonfly are usually seen at the Pools on the site. Easy and level walking but can be muddy following heavy rain. Stout footwear is advised.

Location: Meet in Stockhill Plantation car park ST 548 512 (Map 183).

Directions: Car park is located off the B3134 north of Wells.
