Wiltshire: Field trip to Throope Manor Farm (near Salisbury)

Viscount Head of Throope will be hosting a butterfly walk on the downs at Throope Manor Farm, Bishopstone, near Salisbury. The walk will last around 2 hours, and bring a picnic if you wish to stay on after lunch. Walking will be steep in places so good walking boots and a stick/pole are recommended. The walk is limited to 15 people so places must be booked in advance.

Target Species: Adonis Blues, various Skippers and other downland species.

Directions: Off the road between Coombe Bissett and Broad Chalke, just west of Stratford Tony and east of Bishopstone.
