Fitness levels

A good general level of fitness is required to climb Yr Wyddfa as there will be steep and uneven terrain. At higher levels breathing can be more challenging and will require a slower pace. Before taking on the challenge it is recommended that you complete a few 5 mile walks to get your body used to longer durations of exercise. This will also help you wear in walking boots, packs and know what clothes are comfortable for the day!
