There's a Bioblitz at Train Wood, Norwich on May 27th Early Purple Orchids are now flowering in Norfolk, (and Early Spider in Dorset), and the first cuckoo's been reported for Norfolk.

Currently reported for Norfolk are: Dingy and Grizzled Skipper, Large,Small and Green-veined Whites,  Brimstone, Orangetip, Holly Blue, Small Copper, Green Hairstreak, Painted Lady, Small Tortoiseshell, Red Admiral, Peacock, Comma , Speckled Wood and Small Heath. Large Red and Azure damselflies are now flying in Norfolk, with Hairy Dragonfly expected shortly.
