Monday 15th April
Martin Kew reports.......
I walked the transects today with a cool wind but bright sunshine.
There were a few butterflies on the wing and totals for the reserves were:
Glades.
1 Green-veined White, 1 Brimstone, 3 Peacock and a Speckled Wood.
Sanctuary.
4 Brimstone, 3 Orange-tip, 5 Peacock and a Green-veined White.
Also a couple of Common Lizard made a brief appearance.
Monday 18th March
Lovely sunny day and 14 volunteers came out to prepare the Reserve for the upcoming season.
Hope the Grizzled Skippers appreciate the effort.
