Leisurely walk around Rodborough Common to see the variety of blue butterflies flying at this time of year, including (if we’re lucky!) the recently reintroduced Large Blue. As well as looking for the blue butterflies we’ll also have a chance to identify other confusion species along the way.
Part of the walk will involve walking part way down a steep slope and along a narrow path. Sturdy footwear is advised. A walking pole may also be useful.
This is joint meeting with the Stroud Valleys Project for which booking is required in advance via the Stroud Valleys Project website - https://www.stroudvalleysproject.org/events.
